Sunday School Program
Children are welcome at Living Hope Christian Reformed Church! We aim to show all of our children the wonderful worth and work of Jesus by teaching the Bible to them in a Christ-centred, clear and engaging way.
Sunday School is led by caring and companionate teachers, it is for grades JK to those in Grade 3. There are two separate programs run.
Summer Program
June to August:
The Sunday School is led by our council. They are caring and very proficient in presenting the summer program. The summer program for those who will be entering JK to Grade 1 in September of that year. This gives our youngest members a chance to learn to participate in a structured program before school starts. The program is taken from the “Story Hour” program and divided into a three-year cycle. This program is specially designed for those who are just beginning to learn God’s Word. The “Story Hour” program provides a memory verse that is worked on for a few weeks, a story that is presented with interactive aids, a prayer, a ‘wiggle activity’, craft(s), a game, and more.
All topics are well researched by the Sunday school committee and presented in a way that is exciting for the children.
We welcome guests and new members with joy and excitement.
